  RESCUE AND PRYING TOOLS

The units carry a variety of rescue and prying tools including crowbars, wrecking bars, digging bars and Halligan tools.

HALLIGAN TOOLS

Top: Traditional Halligan Tool, Special Operations Support unit.
Bottom: Compact Halligan Tool, Rescue 1 and Rescue 3.

Rescue-1: Stored in compartment 6.
Rescue-2: Stored in compartment 5.

WRECKING BARS AND CROWBARS

Top: Wrecking bar. Bottom: Crowbar.

Rescue-1: Bars in top shelf, lower rear compartment.

Rescue-2: Bars in compartment No. 5.

Special Ops-1: Bars on passenger side compartment top, behind tripod leg.

LARGE BARS

Top: "Grizzly Bar" pry bar.
Bottom: Standard digging bar.
These bars can be critically important when extricating horses from cattle guards.

The large bars are stored in the same areas on the response units as the other bars.
