Friday, August 20: 10 AM - 5 PM Cutting Arena
- 8:15: Introduction of Clinicians
- 9:00: "Gentling Wild Horses 101"
- 11:00: "Approach and Retreat" & Clicker Training
- 1:00: Gentling with a Bamboo Pole
- 3:00: "Wild Horse" on the Lead Line
- Plus Many Other Presentations and Demos
(The wild horse mentors will also be gentling horses the whole day.)
Saturday August 21: 8 AM - 5 PM Cutting Arena
- 8:00: Safe Gentling Practices
- 9:00: Prison Horse Program Training Methods
- 11:00: Positive Responses in the Round Pen
- 2:00: BLM / NDA Wild Horse Adoption (Pavilion)
- 3:00: Preparing a Horse for Saddling (following the adoption)
- Plus Many Other Presentations and Demos
(The wild horse mentors will also be gentling horses the whole day.)
Sunday, August 22: 8 AM - 4 PM Cutting Arena
(Plus wild horse mentors working with horses for the whole period)
