Sally (Fish Creek Mare, ID#L316)
Sally was the herd's babysitter when the Fish Creek horses were rescued. Now that the babies are all doing well on their own, we have Sally in the "green pens" getting used to humans. She's a pretty steady goer who should do fine once she realizes that humans are OK. To learn the story of the Fish Creek horses, please click here. Sally's adoption fee is $150.00. Sally has been adopted! |

Black Satin (Comstock Mare, ID#H0301)
Satin is a young mare rescued from a bad adoption. She is a smart horse but has a bit of an attitude. She's learning from the volunteers that humans are OK and should end up being a pretty decent horse. Satin's adoption fee is $150.00. Satin has been adopted! |

Harry Trotter (Comstock gelding # 454)
Harry is a gelding estimated to be seven years old. He seems very bright but he's a little bit of weenie, always following the other horses. He was anxious at first when separated from the others but he settled down and actually focuses pretty well. Harry has been saddled and was adopted. His adopter put a saddle on too loose one day and it spun under Harry's belly. Harry got pretty upset and it scared his adopter who called on volunteers to come over and help get the saddle off. Harry has become the "pet" of KBR and often gets to roam the place. He needs an experienced adopter who won't put Harry through any more "accidents." Click Here to view larger photos of Harry. Harry has been adopted!

Homer (Comstock gelding # 565)
Homer was previously adopted, started to saddle and taken out on trail. His adopter's health problems required him to be turned back. (He has been off saddle for at least a year so he will need some refamiliarization to saddle work.) Homer is a fairly stout horse, and is slightly taller than the rest. Homer has been adopted! |

Crista (Titled BLM mare #H0507)
Crista is from the Monte Cristo herd in Nevada. She shows traits of being gaited. She has been previously adopted and is gentle. She is described as being very sweet, fairly easy to halter, stands to be groomed, spooks in place, likes attention, can be caught easily when turned out in the arena, is willing to try new things and learns quickly. She has a bit of facial nerve palsy, but it doesn't seem to affect her. Click here to view more photos Crista has been adopted! |
