Listings will be generally pulled after 30 days. (Stud listings are good for a year.) The submitter of any ad or listing agrees to notify us if the article(s) or animal(s) are sold or before this period. Listings may be extended if the listing party requests, subject to available space.

This is not a commercial advertising service. We don't sell advertising and we don't sell your email addresses to internet advertising lists. These classifieds are provided to help wild horse and burro owners, rescuers and their animals.

Free listings are provided at no charge to Least Resistance Training Concepts members.
Listings for private parties may be provided to non-members at no charge if space is available. If you are not a member and wish to become one, please click HERE.

Members are entitled to one free "sale" listing per month of up to 100 words, including one image. Additional text will be charged at $.10/word and additional images at $10.00 each. Additional listings in a given month are $10.00 (up to 100 words) plus $10.00 per image. There is a $10.00 charge to replace an image or to edit a listing (other than making minor corrections) so please send in the best image and correct copy the first time.

Rescue Listings:

Simple wild horse or burro "wanted" listings, and listings for animals needing adoption placement (to find homes for rather than for sale) are available to members and non-members at no charge.

To get your ad placed promptly:

• Don't send in listings in all capital or all lower case letters.

• Use proper punctuation and spell check your listing.

• Proof read your listing and make sure your price and things like telephone number and email are correct.

• Make sure you send in all the necessary information. At least a quarter of the listing requests we receive are missing important things like in what state the horse or burro lives or the name of the person who is selling the animal.

• Finally, make sure you really want to list your animal. It's not fair to take up our time to configure and upload your listing to the website, then change your mind a couple of days later and ask us to take the listing off.

• State in which the animal is located

• Description, sex and age of the animal

• Honest description as to traits

• Whether the animal is titled (if BLM animal)

• Lister's true name

• If the lister is representing a charity or non-profit organization, the full legal name of the organization and the organization's IRS EIN.

• A valid means of contact (email addy or telephone number)

If you wish to attach a photo to your email, please send it in bmp, jpg, gif or psp format only. (We can scan in the picture should you wish.) We have a 50k size limit on images. Huge image files will be rejected by our server!

We seem to have problems with some AOL mail accounts that have restrictions or the mailboxes are full and they won't accept our replies, or reject the contacts made by interested parties.
If we receive notices that your mailbox is rejecting inquiries made by persons viewing your listing, we will remove your listing.

To place a listing, email us.

Be sure that "Classifieds" is the first word in your message subject. We literally get hundreds of emails which we sort by subject. We may not get to yours in a timely fashion if we don't know what it is about.

• The Wild Horse and Burro Classifieds, hereinafter referred to as "Classifieds," are provided in the interest of members of LRTC.

• Submitters of listings are responsible for providing correct and honest representations of animals listed.

• The Classifieds will attempt to accurately post information submitted. Submitters shall check listings for errors and notify us of needed corrections.

• The Classifieds shall not be responsible for any representations or misrepresentations which may appear in the listings. Prospective buyers and sellers should communicate in person and rely on first hand communications between the parties. The listings are for informational purposes only.

• We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing which does not meet our criteria, appears to be dishonest or misleading, is submitted with incomplete information or is submitted with unreliable contact information.

• We reserve the right to reject any listing which we view as being frivolous or unrealistic (e.g., "Want well broke kids horse. Will pay $150.00.")

• We reserve the right to edit or condense listings to preserve space and/or for editorial correctness.

• Listing space is limited and is provided on a "space available" basis.

• Listers agree to advise us as soon as an animal has been placed.

• Unless additional arrangements have been made, listings will be terminated at any time after being posted 30 days as space is needed.

• All information and images posted on the LRTC website become copyrighted property of LRTC.

• Please note: Listings without valid and verifiable email addresses will not by accepted. If our reply email to you bounces, your listing gets pulled!
