July, 2003 - Part Two

Nap time after breakfast
Violet ID# L305a (Filly)

Violet (for Shrinking Violet) was named as she was originally a timid but sweet bay foal. She has matured quite a bit and now is easy to handle. She's good natured and generally stays out of trouble. Her dam is a fair sized bay with a white strip.

You can see more photos of Violet by clicking Here.

To find out more about adopting Violet please email shirley@whmentors.org or telephone 775.246.7636.

Blazer ID# L306a (Colt)
Belle ID# L306

Blazer's baby coat is buckskin and it looks like he may have four white socks. He hangs out with the other foals and socializes well. His dam is named Belle as she is a bronze bay (as in a bronze bell) and she is one of the largest mares of the group.

Blazer and Belle have been adopted!

Dan ID# L307a (Colt)
Suzi ID# L307

Dan is a fairly active sorrel colt who hangs out a lot with the other foals. His dam is "Suzi," the largest and smartest of the mares. This photo was taken soon after Dan was foaled. He is now the largest of the foals and quite self assured.

Suzi and Dan have been adopted!

Sunny ID# L308a (Colt)
(Orphan)

Sunny is a blonde sorrel colt. He has a sunny coat and a quiet, sunny disposition. Sunny is pretty independent. He hangs with the other foals but isn't afraid to venture out alone.

Sunny has been adopted.

Dimone ID# L309a (Colt)
Missy Bea ID# L309

Dimone is one of the youngest babies but is a pistol, always looking to play with the other foals. He has a very short and shiny haircoat. His dam, Missy Bea, is a lovely black with four white stockings and a large white paint splash on her belly that looks somewhat like a small Clydesdale. (The image, right, is of Missy Bea.)

Missy Bea and Dimone have been adopted.

Ashleigh ID# L310a (Filly)
Dorothy ID# L310

Ashleigh has a dark ash colored baby coat. She is interactive with the other foals but is usually in the background, staying out of trouble. Her dam is a fair sized and quiet bay mare.

Ashleigh and Dorothy have been adopted!
