Least Resistance Training Concepts (LRTC) was started in 1999 to promote equestrian safety and to assist adopters of "wild" range horses and burros placed by the Bureau of Land Management and similar agencies. As time has progressed and needs have changed, we have increased our emphasis on technical large animal rescue, disaster planning, and evacuations and sheltering.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves the community of people who have pets and animals.

Our Mission Statement

To ensure appropriate and safe homes for adopted animals and a satisfying experience for adopters by providing pertinent education and mentoring assistance, to develop programs that address large animal emergencies,
respond to large animal emergencies, and preserve viable horse herds on the range.

Why Join LRTC?

Why Support LRTC?

LRTC responds to more calls for assistance with large animals than any other team in the country, averaging over 500 calls per year. At the same time we advance programs to improve animal and owner safety. We're a non-profit that depends on grants and donations. We're all volunteers so every dollar received goes to providing program services.
We're all volunteers.
All donations go to actual
expenses and operating costs.
