Recovery of costs from involved parties (e.g., BLM, adopter, public educational programs, etc.) will be attempted whenever feasible and appropriate.

The unique character of this project is that it combines a rescue component with a preexisting and effective educational component.

Current Funding Strategies:

  • Grant Applications

  • Private Donations

  • Fees collected from users

  • Fees collected from educational programs

  • Subventions from "Wild Horse Store" revenues

The pilot project has been so successful that another Learning Center has been constructed in Byers, CO and we anticipate additional facilities in other regions that demonstrate both need and available volunteers.
