Fallon Mares & Foals
Gracie and Baby "G"

Gracie the Indian Nation dun mare intercepted enroute to slaughter (purchased at meat prices) gave birth Sunday afternoon (5/22) to a healthy colt. Geoffrey (Baby "G") was a little tangled up in his amniotic sack and Shirley Allen had to go in the corral and free him. Gracie watched attentively but didn't interfere. Shortly afterward Baby "G" found his legs.
Gracie and Baby "G," less than an hour old.
Baby "G" catching his breath
"Time to get up!"
Getting all four legs underneath
"There's the milk bar!"
Gracie and Geoffrey have been adopted!
