Responders generally have their own helmets but sometimes they may have to respond from locations where they don't have access to their own personal safety gear. We carry spare helmets on Rescue-1 and Rescue-3 for members who arrive without their safety gear.
On Rescue-1, spare helmets are stored in the right forward shelf area.
On Rescue-3, spare helmets are stored in the right forward shelf area.
