  BOLT CUTTERS

Updated March 6, 2019

The 36 inch bolt cutters are used for cutting chains, pins and similar objects. A set is carried on Rescue-3 in lower front compartment. (Smaller, specialized bolt cutters and high tensile wire cutters can be found in the "Fence and Gate" box in the forward shelf of the main compartment.)

Compound bolt cutters are stored on the left sidewall inside the Special Operations Support unit.

A small compound bolt cutter is contained in the Fence and Gate Kit stored in the right hand bulkhead in Rescue 3. The kit also contains a high tensile wire cutter.
