  BECKER SLING

Updated March 10, 2019

The Becker Sling is used primarily for lifting large animals from confined spaces and supporting them after extrication until they can regain sufficient strength to stand on their own.

The sling is also useful for repositioning large animals that have limbs trapped.

The container when properly packed.

The Becker Sling equipment cached out.
Note: The straps are no longer packed with the padded sleeves pre-attached.

In Rescue-1 the container is stowed on the forward right-hand floor.

In the Special Operations Support Unit the container is stowed on the left-hand floor.
