Just Another Horse -
The Story of Trooper
(Formerly "Donald Trump")

PART TEN

2011 Events

This page is a continuation of a series that starts at Part One.

  TROOPER THE CELEBRITY

Trooper was invited to the Saddle Up for St. Jude ride and to be the "celebrity horse" for the American Lung Association "Fight for Air" run/walk. The St. Jude ride was held at Washoe Lake and was organized by the High Sierra Riders. The Fight for Air run/walk was held at Damonte High School. The Damonte mascot is the mustang, so Trooper greeted the participants and advertised the kids run.

horse used in endurance) is the second horse in the line-up.

  FUN AT THE
NEVADA DAY PARADE

We got out the gilly suits for the Nevada Day parade in Carson City and rode with the Alliance of Wild Horse Advocates. Trooper was his usual reliable self and he did great the whole day - dealing with about 5½ hours of noise and chaos.
"Where's the rider?" Hanging out at staging.
Moving down Carson Street.

This feature will continue as Trooper has more adventures.
