N.W. NEVADA HORSE EMERGENCIES

Horses on Streets and Highways

Please Note: When reporting horses or other livestock on public streets and highways the following information is critically important: the exact location of the horses (highway number or street name and closest cross street or highway mile marker number,) the time the animals were observed, how many animals were observed and the direction that they appeared to be traveling. Also a description of the horses can be useful. DON'T try to move horses near, on or across any highway without assistance from law enforcement, animal services, NDoT or trained and experienced large animal volunteers!
