Routes to Brentwood Oaks Equestrian

If you are travelling east bound on State Route 4, continue east past the City of Antioch until SR-4 exits onto a surface street. (The exit signs will also say Brentwood and Stockton.) Highway 4 goes off to the right at the bottom of the offramp and will take you through Oakley. After you leave Oakley and enter Brentwood you will pass two traffic signals and cross a small bridge. Sunset Ave. is at the far end of the bridge. Turn left. Eden Plains Rd.is your second stop sign. Turn right. Arabian Lane is about 3/4 mile on your right. If you are travelling south bound on State Route 160, take the Highway 4 EAST exit at the south end of the Antioch Bridge and follow the directions listed above. If you are coming west on SR-4, watch for the highway to bend north (right) at a traffic signal after you pass Discovery Bay. In under 2 miles, the highway will again bend to the west (left). You don't want to follow this bend, but instead turn off to the right so that you can continue on Byron Highway which continues north. (This intersection is a little confusing. The old highway connects in the middle of the bend, so in order to continue straight north, the direction you were originally heading, you have to turn right. The road you turn onto will follow your original direction.) Continue north on Byron Highway. You quickly will come to an old canal bridge with a "dip" sign. The bridge is swaybacked so SLOW DOWN if you are towing horses. The main paved roads intersect about every mile. The second paved road to the left is Chestnut St. Turn left on Chestnut. The first paved intersection you come to is Eden Plains Rd. Turn right on Eden Plains Rd. Arabian Lane is a gravel road to the left in about 1/4 mile. |
