LRTC Wild Horse Mentors' Information Sheet

Catalog of April 15, 2006, PVC Adoption

The National Wild Horse and Burro Center at Palomino Valley hosts an average of two special adoption events per year.  An adoption is scheduled for April 15, 2006.

 This will be a “Competitive Bid” adoption.

· Open for viewing at 8:00am.
· Pre adoption briefing starting at 9:00am.
· Bidding starts at 10:00am.
· Bidding ends at 11:00am.
Opening bids will start at $125.00.

The following are links to individual photos of the horses and burros BLM is offering at its April 15, 2006 special event adoption. There are horses offered from many desirable HMA’s. All successful bidders will receive a brand inspection and veterinarian health certificate.

Any horses left after the competetive bid will be available for adoption on a first come, first serve basis for the base fee of $125.00.

FACILITY TRAINING ACTIVITIES

The LRTC Wild Horse Mentors will be gentling and halter starting some of the horses at the facility each day starting on Wednesday, April 12. Adopters and spectators are welcome to come and watch. Details can be found on the Wild Horse U page.
